The third and final NGL ONE qualifier starts tomorrow, the brackets have filled out and the competition looks to be fierce.
With the exception of a handful of spots reserved for special circumstances this will be the final chance for players to qualify for the league.
Several high-profile players have yet to qualify, some as a result of poor performances in previous qualifiers, while others have skipped the previous qualifiers entirely.
Current ESWC champion Du Seop 'WhO' Chang still hasn't qualified despite competing in both the previous qualifiers. Andrew 'YanE' Toeniskoetter stunned fans during the initial qualifier after eliminating WhO during the first round, during the second qualifier WhO was eliminated by Mykhaylo 'HoT' Novopashyn and Deok Man 'SocceR' Youn.
Sung Hyun 'Space' Park was also knocked out in an upset when he lost to Finnish night elf player Samu 'BriNGeR' Riihelä in the upper bracket of last week's qualifier, later losing to Daniel 'XlorD' Spenst in the lower bracket. Like WhO, Space has been underperforming, but unlike WhO, Space may not be eligible for one of the reserved discretionary slots, given his lack of solo achievements.
The Chinese turnout this week is significantly stronger now that the Chinese new year period has passed. Kejing 'Like' Li, Xiang 'TH000' Huang and Xuwen 'infi' Wang will all be trying their hands at qualifying this week.
The first set of matches start tomorrow at 14:00 CET, you can follow the matches via our tournament page.
